Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida provides The Center for Women & Families. They provide a range of social services to homeless families. The center is made up of three distinct sections; a single women’s dorm, family dorm, and individual family rooms. They also offer the First Steps Shelter Recovery Program for Women. Head Start is a federally funded program for low-income children and children with disabilities. They offer school readiness, and a range of other services. Children will receive nutritious family-style meals during as well. Breakfast is also provided each day as well as snacks during the day. Call for more information.
The Community Hope Center is for low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The main emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor.
