Food Pantry - Christian Sharing Center

We serve all of Seminole County from two food pantries. One is in Longwood and the other is in Sanford. Food is given free to those in need. We partner with U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, The Emergency Food Assistance Program, and Second Harvest Food Bank to ensure a well-balanced grocery cart.

The Sanford office serves Sanford, Geneva or Lake Monroe. This location is at 515 E. 25th Street.

The Longwood site covers Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Chuluota, Fern Park, Lake Mary, Longwood, Maitland, Oviedo, Winter Park, or Winter Springs. This location is in the Fairmont Plaza.

Free School Meal Application

Seminole County Public Schools Food Service information:
Parents can apply for free or reduced meal benefits electronically on-line.
Breakfast and lunch are available every day at all schools.
Prices for meals are available on the website.

There is also a Summer Food Service Program during June, July and August. Children 18 and under can get breakfast and lunch at no cost.

Grace ‘n Grits Homeless Ministry - St. Peter's Episcopal Church

Grace ‘n Grits Homeless Ministry provides a range of services to help the homeless in Sanford. They offer meals, laundry services, as well as give away bikes to those in need as they become available.

Kid's Cafe

This group offers the Kid’s Café program. It is an afterschool, meal service program. It provides food to children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The group prepares and delivers balanced meals. Deliveries are on weekdays, during the school year. Meals are served by community partners and not the food bank itself. Meal Service - Grace 'n Grits - St. Peter's Episcopal Church

St. Peter's serves quality meals Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Sanford Civic Center, 401 East Seminole Boulevard in downtown Sanford. Area churches take a turn preparing and serving a variety of hot meals. Local supermarkets donate baked goods and bread which can be taken home.
St. Peter's also serves a hot breakfast of meat, eggs, pancakes, grits and cereal Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 9am at the 1st Presbyterian Church at 4th and Park in Sanford. Donated pastries and bread can also be taken home.
