Access Florida - Florida Department of Children and Families

Access Florida has the Food Stamp Program(EBT) that helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. Caring Hands-The First Baptist Church of Wildwood

The First Baptist Church of Wildwood offers Caring Hands to those in need within the community. Food, clothing and other items may be available. Hours are operation is every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You must fill out an application and qualify first. Clients that qualify will receive a Green ID card valid for up to one year. Clients must re-qualify before the card’s expiration. Applicant must be a resident of Wildwood, Florida.

Please bring the following:

  • Photo ID for identification, and proof of address
  • Proof of all your household income
  • Social Security Cards for each person in your household

Emergency Shelter & Residential Services - Arnette House, Inc.

This group offers emergency shelter for youth between the ages of 10 and 17. Their house is open to eligible kids 24/7. They give kids daily programs to support positive behavior. They also offer counseling and teach kids life skills. They help kids avoid substance abuse. They offer case management and help kids reunite with their families. They are also connected to medical care. Kids can do arts, crafts, and music. They also have access to outdoor recreation.
