The Food Stamp Program(EBT) helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Dept of Children and Families services.

Healthy Start of Central & North Florida Coalitions - The Connect Program

The Connect Program is a referral program. They provide many programs and resources. Some programs include infant safety, family planning, child development, nutrition, and more. Resources may include food, housing aid, employment, and more. This program is for pregnant women, infants, and families with young children. Eligibility is based on a screening. This agency helps dialysis patients with transportation costs not covered by other resources. Patients may use grants to travel to and from dialysis treatment, or for transplant work-ups. Operation Homefront - Critical Financial Assistance

Operation Homefront offers the Critical Financial Assistance Program. The program helps military families. Helps them address critical financial shortfalls. Help is given in the form of grants, not loans. It is also given in the form of grocery cards. The payments are made directly to service providers. There are eligibility criteria that must be met. The First Baptist Church of Wildwood - Caring Hands

The First Baptist Church of Wildwood offers Caring Hands to those in need within the community. Food, clothing and other items may be available. Hours are operation is every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You must fill out an application and qualify first. Clients that qualify will receive a Green ID card valid for up to one year. Clients must re-qualify before the card’s expiration. Applicant must be a resident of Wildwood, Florida.

Please bring the following:

  • Photo ID for identification, and proof of address
  • Proof of all your household income
  • Social Security Cards for each person in your household
