Programs Available:
Works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. Houses are then sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps people pay their energy costs when they have an unpaid energy bill. The program works to help low-income families. For the first half of the month, LIHEAP gives priority to single mothers, those aged 60 or older, the disabled, and children under five years of age. All other clients are served the second half of the month. They can help every six months, once in the winter and once in the summer.
This group runs Mercy House. It is for formerly incarcerated men and women. The year-long program helps clients reintegrate into society. Please call or visit the website for more information.
This group offers the Critical Financial Assistance Program. The program helps military families with grants and not loans. Help is also given in the form of grocery cards. The payments are made directly to service providers. There are eligibility criteria that must be met. Please call or visit the website for more information.
