St. Vincent de Paul - Night Shelter

The Night Shelter is an “in at night/out by morning” shelter for homeless men and women. Staff begins admitting new clients at 8:45pm. Returning clients sign in at 9pm. Clients are allowed to sleep in the Shelter for up to 21 consecutive nights, after which they must make room for new arrivals. After 14 nights “out,” they must be re-admitted if they haven’t found more permanent lodging. Please call for more information.

St. Vincent de Paul - Center of Hope Transitional Housing

The Center of Hope is a program that provides housing for low-income and homeless people. The program is for those trying to attain self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Clients meet with a case manager who helps them create a personalized plan of action. The Center helps Veterans, the homeless and the working poor. They may stay for up to two years. Another Way, Inc. - Shelter

This agency helps victims of all types of violence. They deal with sexual battery; child physical and sexual abuse; domestic violence; elder abuse; stalking; human trafficking victims. They take calls 24 hours a day. Please visit the website or call for more info.

Residential Programs - Talbot House

This group has two short- term residential programs. The length of the program depends on the person. The length can be from 6 months up to 24. The help is for adults experiencing homelessness. Hidle House

Hidle House is a crisis shelter for children 10-17 years old. The focus is on providing safe shelter while working with youth to work out immediate family problems.
