Crescent Community Clinic

This clinic offers free health care to Hernando county adults ages 18 to 64. It is for those who do not have insurance and who meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The clinic runs on donations from patients. As well as from local businesses and organizations. You will not be turned away if you are unable to donate. Division of Early Learning

The Division of Early Learning is called DEL for short. It is a division of the Florida Department of Education. This division works to provide early learning services for children.

Programs Include:

  • Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)
  • School Readiness (SR)
  • Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK)

Jericho Road Ministries

Services

Jericho Road Ministries offers a wide variety of services to those in need of assistance in the community. We aid families needing temporary shelter because of fire, flood, or other natural disaster. We also operate two shelter programs for men and women. Services include:

  • Addiction recovery support
  • Clothing and personal hygiene items
  • Computer literacy programs
  • Counseling through staff and peer support
  • Daily meals and safe shelter
  • Education, Vocation, and Training Opportunities
  • Emergency food assistance
  • Employment preparation
  • GED tutoring
  • Helping people be self-supportive
  • Life skills management
  • Material assistance as available
  • Material donations to individuals with referrals from other agencies
