Community Coach - Senior Resource Association

Senior Resource Association provides Community Coach. It is a door-to-door service between the hours of 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Rides are available to all eligible Indian River County customers. Currently, Community Coach is a “demand response” service. This means you must call in advance to schedule your trips with them. Meals on Wheels - Senior Resources Association

Senior Resource Association provides the Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers deliver meals to clients’ homes Monday through Friday. They do this between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. They also give a daily safety check and friendly interaction. Hot, nutritious meals are delivered to seniors’ doors – five days a week. They also offer frozen meals for the weekends. If you are homebound and have been discharged from a healthcare facility within the last 30; or, whose caregiver is going into a healthcare facility for a brief period of time, they offer Emergency Meals on Wheels.

Senior Resource Association provides programs for active older adults. They assist seniors and their families in finding resources. They also deliver services that meet a senior’s individual needs.

Ecumenical Food Pantry - Roseland United Methodist Church

Roseland United Methodist Church helps the community through their outreach ministries. They feed the hungry through the Roseland Food Pantry. Families who come to the Food Pantry are given a box of food. If a family has small children, diapers and baby food are available. For the homeless, the pantry provides backpacks with food items and other personal hygiene items. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 Am to 1 PM. Economic Opportunities Council of Indian River County, Inc. - LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) helps low-income households with the costs of heating and cooling their homes. Funds are given once a year. This is based on the clients gross income and household size. Priority is given to those age 60 or over, and/or person has a disability; and/or at least one child under 5 in the home.
