Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - Northeast Florida Community Action Agency

LIHEAP is a program that helps low-income households who are low on funds or about to have their energy cut off. They will make payments directly to the utility company for you. Connexion Paratransit Services - JTA

Connexion is JTA's paratransit service. It provides transportation services to disabled and disadvantaged riders unable to use the fixed route buses or rail service. There are fees for each ride. Assessments for the service are done in person. Please see the website for more information.

Outreach Center - Hubbard House

Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) - Northeast Region

This agency is called APD for short. It supports persons with developmental disabilities. The agency works to help clients live, learn, and work in their communities. The services include help to find jobs, funding, and supported living services.

APD serves those with:

  • Autism
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability
  • Down syndrome
  • Intellectual disabilities
  • Phelan-McDermid syndrome
  • Prader-Willi syndrome
  • Spina bifida
