Minor Home Repairs, Maintenance, and Cleaning - CCC

We will perform various cleaning and repair tasks around your home. Many of these services are intended for those neighbors who have a hard time performing physical tasks.

  1. House cleaning
  2. Yard care (mowing, leaf raking, trimming)
  3. Minor home repairs and refurbishment

Wheelchair Ramp / Accessibility Construction - CCC

We will construct wheelchair ramps or other accessibility features, for those with demonstrated medical and financial need.

Typical accessibility features we'll build:

  1. Wheelchair ramps
  2. Stairs
  3. Walkways
  4. Handrails
  5. Bathroom grab bars

Furniture Delivery - CCC

We deliver the following items, at no cost, for those with a demonstrated need:

  1. Furniture
  2. Appliances (washer/dryer/refrigerator)
  3. Beds and mattresses
  4. Sheets, blankets, pillowcases and towels
  5. Lamps
  6. Basic kitchen goods (pots, pans, dishes, utensils)

Cocoa Veterans Village - Volunteers of America

This group runs the Cocoa Veterans Village. It is a GPD program. The program provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless veterans. The help will stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence. A veteran can stay in the program for up to six months. There are requirements that must be met to participate. Eloy A. Rodriguez, Jr. Veterans Village - Volunteers of America

This group runs the Eloy A. Rodriguez, Jr. Veterans Village. It provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless male veterans.
