Our aim is to bring health care directly to underserved neighborhoods in Alachua County. We offer free or reduced-price basic health care to people right in their neighborhoods. Our staff is made up of professionals and students.
Services of our Clinic:
- Help people enroll in health plans that they qualify for
- Identify neighborhoods where residents are in need
- Offer primary and preventive care to these areas
- Provide disease prevention services
- Screen for chronic illnesses
Fees are based on which agency is running the clinic that day; The attending agency is visible on the calendar, located on the home page.
Equal Access – No fees
Alachua County Health Department - Fees are based on a sliding scale based on income. Please bring proof of income during these clinic days.

The Equal Access Clinic is a healthcare clinic which provides free care and other services to the underserved in Gainesville. Health professional students from UF Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health work together under the supervision of faculty to assess and treat patients.
- Full primary medical care
- Follow‐up medical care
- Social work and psychological consultations
- Administration of medications, OTC and prescription (NO NARCOTICS)
- Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring
- Confidential HIV counseling and testing
- Referrals to WE CARE network specialists
- Emergency dental referrals to the UF dental clinic
