Better Way of Miami, Inc. provides three separate treatment programs.
- Day/Night Treatment – Clients can stay at Better Way East or move to another program run by Better Way. If they choose not to, they can live in local halfway houses, shelters, or with family. When they're not looking for a job, working, or going to school, they can join this special outpatient rehabilitation program. It happens both in the evening and during the day.
- Outpatient Treatment – The main goal is long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. This is accomplished through treatment planning. Group and individual sessions with each person will also be held. They will help them learn how to sustain sobriety through the 12-Step Recovery Model.
- Residential Treatment -This is the most intense program; it helps people with addiction understand their problem and stop denying it. It also helps them learn how to live with others who are recovering, too. The client and their counselor or case manager will find areas that need change and work together to improve. The client will also learn about the 12 Step recovery program.
