Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) was founded in 1977. It’s the official certified domestic violence center based in Pinellas County, FL., serving Marion and Pinellas Counties.
In Marion County, CASA operates the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; Child Protective Investigative Team support; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment, and legal advocacy; and community and corporate training.
CASA Marion has services for survivors of domestic violence. You can call the 24-hour crisis hotline. There is also an emergency shelter. They provide outreach support programs. They also focus on prevention through education. Call for more information.
This provider offers support to parents, grand parents and other relatives after the death of a child. This provider has over 500 chapters in all 50 states. They offer counseling and grieving services.
