Wings of Faith Fellowship operates a Thrift Store. They are open Monday through Saturday. Their hours are from 9 Am to 4 PM. Call for more information.
The Salvation Army provides the Women's and Children's Shelter. It is a 62 bed facility for women and their children experience homelessness. This facility provides a warm and safe environment for women and children in need of emergency shelter. Check in begins at 4:30 PM daily and continues until the facility is full. LVCC offers a workplace literacy program. The program is for non-native speakers. It helps workers improve their communication skills. So that they can effectively carry out their role in the workplace. Please call or visit the website for more information.
This agency runs several youth crisis shelters. They provide residential group care. The help is for youth between the ages of 10 and 17. These youth are runaways, homeless, or have been kicked or locked out by their parents or guardians. They may need short-term respite or crisis placement.
