This group offers the Benefit Connection Outreach Program. It helps with SNAP applications. They hold the interview in person with you instead of over the phone. They can also scan and send your documents to DCF. After, they may continue to offer help, information, and referrals. Their services are free of charge. Brother's Keeper Soup Kitchen has been serving the poor for 25 years. They serve a meal to the poor from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM daily, 365 days a year. On Thanksgiving, they serve a full turkey dinner. On Christmas they serve a ham dinner. On other holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July they celebrate with a cookout.
Blessed Trinity Catholic Church provides Brother’s Keeper. It is a social service outreach ministry. They help the needy in the parish and in the community. Brother’s Keeper operates a Soup Kitchen. They serve a lunch meal from 12:00 to 1:00 every day of the year. Holidays, Christmas and Easter, are included. Call for more information.
