Community Connect is a Healthy Start program. It handles the prenatal and infant screening forms. It also handles the referral process. The program helps pregnant women, caregivers, and families. The Everyday Café offers free meals to the public. It was formerly the Fort Myers Soup Kitchen. Contact for more information.

This agency provides direct food assistance to families in need. Clients shop in a warehouse-type setting. They select their own food and pay a reduced price. Food Stamps, checks, cash and major credit cards are accepted.
Hours: Mon - Sat 9:00AM - 6:00PM
This food bank has locations in Citrus Park and Brandon. Food distribution is once each month in both places. Clients can get emergency food weekdays by appointment at each location.
Pick-up for all food must be arranged in advance by calling 813.960.1848. TJFS never turns anyone away.

The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor.
