Bellies Babies and Beyond

This program helps pregnant women and those in between pregnancies. They help infants and children up to the age of three. They get health care and the social support they need. They try to reduce the risks of poor health outcomes for mother and child.

Ben Singleton Center - Volunteers of America

The Ben Singleton Center offers the GPD program. It provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless veterans. The program will help stabilize and prepare a participant for a life of independence. A veteran can participate in the program for up to two years. Any program fees are based on income. Benefits Connection - Second Harvest

This group has the Benefit Connection Outreach Program. It helps with SNAP applications. They do the interview in person with you instead of over the phone. They can also scan and send your documents to DCF. After, they may continue to offer help with information and referrals. Their services are free of charge. Blessed Trinity Catholic Church provides Brother’s Keeper. It is a social service outreach ministry. They help the needy in the parish and in the community. Brother’s Keeper operates a thrift and used clothing store and a used furniture store. Call for more information.
