This group offers a family services program for basic needs. The help available is on a limited basis. Services are for those in the community that are facing unexpected financial situations. The group does this through a CARE plan. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Belleview United Methodist Church provides a Food Pantry. They currently operate the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Call for more information.
Belleview United Methodist Church provides a Thrift Shop. The shop is open four days a week: Mondays from 9 AM to noon and Thursdays 10AM to 3PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM. They offer quality items at low prices. Call for more information.
The Ben Singleton Center offers the GPD program. It provides transitional housing. It also provides supportive services. The help is for homeless veterans. The program will help stabilize and prepare a participant for a life of independence. A veteran can participate in the program for up to two years. Any program fees are based on income. This group offers the Benefit Connection Outreach Program. It helps with SNAP applications. They hold the interview in person with you instead of over the phone. They can also scan and send your documents to DCF. After, they may continue to offer help, information, and referrals. Their services are free of charge. The foundation operates a Food pantry of mostly non-perishable items on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
Blessed Trinity Catholic Church provides Brother’s Keeper. It is a social service outreach ministry. They help the needy in the parish and in the community. The office for emergency assistance is open Monday through Friday. The hours are from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 1:00 to 4:00. Please call for more information.
