The Putnam Christian Service Center is known as PCSC for short. The center helps residents from all areas of Putnam County who are in a crisis situation. The help given is meant to help the client to avoid or overcome a crisis. Those who get help must be able to show that they can maintain their bills without further help. Queen Palm Supportive Housing - Volunteers of America

Queen Palm Supportive Housing provides housing and services for adults who have severe and ongoing mental illnesses. The apartments here are subsidized and the rent is based on your income. There are 11 units and a shared bathroom for use. You will need to meet requirements to participate in this program. Please call or visit the website to learn more.

Housing Includes:

Residential & Inpatient Services (Suwannee County)-Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.

Residential treatment is catered to each client's personal needs. The Sid Martin Bridge House is for people with serious addictions. A team of trained specialists support the resident's road to recovery. The MIST program offers pregnant women help with their addictions. The Recovery Center is for teen boys with substance abuse issues.

The Crisis Stabilization Units (CSU) are in Gainesville and Lake City. They provide short term stabilization for the most acute and serious mental health issues. When needed, the client may stay for longer term treatment.

The Detox unit serves those who may go through withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. Services are usually short term.

Residential Children's Mental Health Services - Daniel Kid's

This group runs the Daniel Statewide In-Patient Psychiatric Program. It is called SIPP for short. The program provides treatment services. These services are for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The services provided are for children exhibiting the most severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress.
