This group has Child & Family Services. These services are to help parents with their child’s mental health. They easily work with support systems the child might already have. The ongoing focus of Child Health Services is to stress prevention, early identification and parent education.

The Child Health Program provides

• Health education and referrals
• Nursing assessment and intervention
• School physicals
• Vision and hearing screenings
• WIC certification/recertification

Services include communicable disease control including:

• Childhood immunizations
• HIV risk assessment and testing
• Testing for tuberculosis

Immunizations are free for children age 4 weeks through age 18 years. There is no appointment necessary. The office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm except on the 4th Friday.

This group offers mental health services for children and teenagers. They provide holistic, personalized care. The services include education, intervention, and treatment. The help provided is to make sure that each child has a chance at a healthy and vibrant future. There is a sliding fee scale available for those who qualify. Available Services Include:

Children and teens can be seen at the clinic, home or school for counseling. They can be seen without parental consent for all substance use disorders or for a mental health emergency. However, the parents' involvement is essential for their children's improved mental health.

The Recovery Center is for teen boys with substance abuse issues.

The Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is in Lake City. It provides short term stabilization for the most acute and serious mental health issues.
