Pathways to Home has the aim to eliminate homelessness among families with children. They work with other agencies in Seminole County. Clients are assessed as to their needs. They may be referred to a partner agency for help. Help with utilities and rent may be provided for those accepted into the program.

• You have not declared bankruptcy or had a foreclosure within the past 3 years
• You pay my rent on time

You are willing to partner with Habitat

• Attend Habitat homeowner training classes
• Contribute 250 hours of "sweat equity"
• You are willing to live in an area where Habitat has homes
• Pay $1200 towards closing costs

They can help in areas such as pre and post-purchase counseling and mortgage default counseling. Clients can learn about financial management and other forms of housing assistance.

Goldenrule helps low-income families become first-time homeowners. They have resources to help families and individuals in any way that they can. They can help with the down-payment, loan qualifying, finding an affordable existing home, and more.

You can qualify even if you have had a bankruptcy or owned a home before.
