This group offers a variety of day programs. These are for the development of life skills. The programs and services are customized to the needs of the individual. In this program, the group contracts with local business partners. This is to offer paid work opportunities. Participants will learn valuable work skills. They will be paid minimum wage. Interfaith provides work boots to Marion County Residents. Those in need require a letter from the employer stating the need. A valid Marion County ID and social security card is also required. This must be brought in to the main office and undergo the “intake” process. Call for more information.
This program can serve up to 140 inmates at a time. It gives participants the chance to get their lives back on track. They are employed during the day and work on substance abuse treatment, education and vocational courses at night. WR inmates pay a fee for their room and board. They also make court-ordered payments and send money home for family support. They are required to set money aside for savings upon release.
