Community Connect is a Healthy Start program. It handles the prenatal and infant screening forms. It also handles the referral process. The program helps pregnant women, caregivers, and families. This group offers a diabetes management program. It is for children and adolescents with very severe behavioral problems. They also have diabetic health concerns. This program teaches them how to take control of their illness. It provides individual and group teaching. It also provides help with diet and exercise programs. The state offers health insurance for children. From birth through age 18. It is free to apply. Enrollment is year-round. Each child is matched with the best fit of four Florida KidCare programs.
