Center for Autism and Related Disabilities - Support Services

CARD-USF provides information to families of those with autism. They can offer referrals for community support. Families are encouraged to take part in local activities. There are many online resources, including a community calendar. This shows local autism events. There are also support group listings. Families can get one-on-one counseling from a CARD consultant.

Early Steps

Children’s Home Society of Florida – Emerald Coast offers the Early Steps program. This program empowers families with children who have developmental delays. Services are available for children ages 0 to 3. They help navigate the challenges, celebrate milestones, and help children reach their full potential. Specialists work with the parents to build on their strengths. This empowers parents to advocate for their families. In-home visits are an option to increase the comfort of the child.
