Charlotte County is now offering its residents a free discount prescription card. This care is mostly used by people with no insurance. However, it's good for everyone to compare pricing even if they have insurance.

The Florida Discount Drug Card is available to all Florida residents. It is used to save money on prescription drugs and is accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies in the US. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Florida residents have access to a Prescription Assistance Program.The program can be used with most health insurance plans to reduce prescription costs.
PPA helps people find programs to help pay for medications. More than 2500 brand name and generic drugs are covered. Many of them are free or low-cost. Finding out if you qualify is quick and easy. The call center accepts calls in about 150 languages. Please call for more information.
