Residential Children's Mental Health Services - Daniel Kid's

This group runs the Daniel Statewide In-Patient Psychiatric Program. It is called SIPP for short. The program provides treatment services. These services are for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The services provided are for children exhibiting the most severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress. Youth Life Learning Centers - Boselli Foundation

This agency strives to help children who live in at-risk areas on the north side of Jacksonville. The Youth Life Learning Centers focus on providing children after-school learning services. They are currently serving children up to the sixth grade. Each year the center adds another grade level so children can remain in the program until graduation. During the school year, the centers are open from 3:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. There is also a 6-week day camp during the summer. Children receive tutoring and have computer access. There are also a number of activities such as field trips, dance lessons and sports. There are currently two locations. Please see the website for more information.
