Support Services - Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
This Center provides support and help to those families dealing with autism spectrum disorders. Services are free to those with autism and related conditions, their families and the staff that work with them. Please see the website (under Patient Care) for more information.
Temporary Shelter - Family Promise of Jacksonville
Homeless families who come to Family Promise stay at a local congregation for one week. While there, they get three meals a day, case management and other services. They can use laundry facilities, a computer and get phone access at the Family Center. They will also meet with a social worker who will develop a plan of action to get the family on the path to self sufficiency. Please see the website for more information.
Thrift Store - City Rescue Mission
The CRM Thrift Store offers clothing, baby items and furniture at bargain prices. You will also find antiques, electronics, artwork, collectibles and more. All proceeds from sales go directly toward helping the clients served by CRM. Seniors age 55+ get a 15% discount off of purchases every Monday. There are also daily and weekly specials. CRM also has pickup service for donated items.

Tri-Counties Care Center - Haven Hospice
This Care Center has end-of-life care. They focus on the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of its patients. There are services for family members as well. The Care Center is for those who can no longer live in their own home. They have 16 beds with full hospice service and the comforts of home. Please call or visit the website to learn more.
Victim Impact Panels (VIP) - MADD
This is an awareness program for offenders convicted of misdemeanor DUI. It consists of a panel of crime victims speaking about how impaired drivers forever changed their lives. The panel presents a unique story to the offender that is often overlooked or cannot be taught by the courts. If you have been court ordered to attend a VIP meeting, please call to find out times and dates.
Victim Services (VINE) - Department of Corrections
This program helps victims of crimes committed by Florida inmates. Through the VINE program, victims can sign up for an automatic notification service. Anyone may call the toll-free number to get an inmate's current location and release date. You may also register to learn when an inmate is released, transferred, escapes or dies. Vital Records - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
This agency can help you find vital records for all 50 states. You can also find records if you are a U.S. citizen who was born in a foreign country. There are fees for each certificate. Please see the website for more information.
