Supportive Services - American Cancer Society
This agency offers a range of services to those with cancer. Someone is available to talk to 24 hours a day. You may also chat live with someone online.
Services include:
Tri-County Human Services, Inc. - Highlands County Outpatient Clinic
Tri-County Human Services, Inc. provides the Highlands County Outpatient Clinic. They offer adult/adolescent services.
Services provided include:
- Alcohol/Drug Education
- Family/Couples Counseling
- Group Counseling
- Individual Counseling
- Substance Abuse Assessment
- Urinalysis Drug Testing
Each client will work with their own clinical specialist. Together they will create a treatment plan tailored to the individual. Length of stays in outpatient services range from three to nine months. The services provided b Tri-County are covered by many health insurance plans. When health insurance coverage is not available, an affordable plan is worked out with each client. Call for more information.
Victim Assistance - MADD
MADD helps those who have been affected by a drunk or drugged driving crash. They provide emotional support. As well as a variety of other kinds of assistance. All services are provided at no cost to victims and survivors. Please call or visit the website for locations and more information.

Victim Services (VINE) - Department of Corrections
This program helps victims of crimes committed by Florida inmates. Through the VINE program, victims can sign up for an automatic notification service. Anyone may call the toll-free number to get an inmate's current location and release date. You may also register to learn when an inmate is released, transferred, escapes or dies.
