Access Florida - Florida Department of Children and Families

Access Florida has the Food Stamp Program(EBT) that helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Department of Children and Families services.

This agency offers adoption as an alternative parenting option. They help support birth mothers and adoptive parents. Help is offered before, during, and after adoption. Arbor Place Hillsborough Supportive Housing Program - Volunteers of America

This group runs the Arbor Place Supportive Housing Program. It is for homeless individuals and families. They have been diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. The help will stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence. There are requirements that must be met to participate. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Community Food Back - Tampa Jewish Family Services

This food bank has locations in Citrus Park and Brandon. Food distribution is once each month in both places. Clients can get emergency food weekdays by appointment at each location.
Pick-up for all food must be arranged in advance by calling 813.960.1848. TJFS never turns anyone away.
