This group has a veterans initiative. It places service dogs with military veterans and veterans with disabilities. The dogs can help with a variety of disabilities. The Salvation Army provides the Women's and Children's Shelter. It is a 62 bed facility for women and their children experience homelessness. This facility provides a warm and safe environment for women and children in need of emergency shelter. Check in begins at 4:30 PM daily and continues until the facility is full.
