Carlton Manor - Group Homes/Foster Care

This agency has residential group care in 3 homes.The program is voluntary and children live in the homes during the week and return home on weekends. Family therapy is a component along with individual therapy, cognitive therapy and recreational therapy for the children.

The foster home program aims to meet the needs of abused and neglected children. It is for children who are under the custody of DCF. The foster care program offers family therapy and individual therapy. It offers case management and family support. The children stay in the home until they can return to their families. If this is not possible, they may be adopted or placed in another home setting.

Catholic Charities - Counseling Services - Pasco

Counseling services are provided to individuals, families and couples. They are for anyone who has personal, relationship and family problems. Counselors can help with grief and loss, anxiety, and marital conflict. There are services for children. Fees are based on household size and income. Counseling is also provided to children in selected Pinellas schools. Life Skills Classes and therapeutic groups are also offered. This includes parenting skills classes. Day and evening appointments are available.

This agency has confidential services for women facing the challenges of pregnancy. Services include pregnancy testing and prenatal and childbirth information. The Mentor Program provides support for the mother. She can get baby supplies. Adoption services are available. There are parenting classes, maternity supplies, emergency food and area resources.

All of these services are provided at no cost to the client.
