Youth Transition Services- Service Source - Pasco

This agency has two employment services for disabled youth. One is Successful Transitions. It helps youth ages 14-22. It provides them with access to local resources that increase their quality of life. They can get help with job searches and gain independence and self-sufficiency.

The other program is High School/High Tech (HS/HT). It gives high school students the chance to explore jobs and further their education. The emphasis is on high tech careers. Students get firsthand knowledge by way of site visits, workshops and paid summer internships.

Transition Youth Program

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Florida Department of Education provides Transition Youth. This program helps people who have disabilities get or keep a job after exiting high school. Please call or visit website for more information.

Youth Employment-Job Corps

This is a national, primarily residential training program. It is for young people ages 16 through 24. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young adults and teach them the skills they need to become employable. Students get academic training to suit their needs. They can get their GED. They can learn English. They can take Driver’s Education. They can get vocational training in several fields.
