PACE Day Program - Pace Center for Girls, Inc.

This group offers a day program. The program is year-round. Teachers help middle and high school students with education. Counselors help with support, life skills training, and career preparation. They offer help at home, as well as at schools and within the local community. The services are tailored for each girl. This program is free. Service Source - WIPA Program

WIPA stands for Work Incentives Planning and Assistance. This program helps those with disabilities find jobs. It is targeted at SSA (Social Security Admin) beneficiaries. The aim of this program is to help you find a job and increase your independence.

People in this program will get counseling and referrals. They will receive follow up services and consumer education.

St. Michael the Archangel

St. Vincent de Paul Cares Program(SVdP) is a place where those in need are welcome to come for help. The staff and volunteers are committed to person-to-person service.

All services are based on partnership with other providers in the community. The goal is to help the individual toward self-sufficiency.

The Center helps individuals with an initial job search, referrals to community job programs, and GED studies. They can help with social security or getting IDs, or simply getting respite from the elements.

The center also offers a mail drop for clients, hot drinks and snacks.

Clients can consult with an on-site nurse for medical advice and appropriate treatment. You will need an appointment.

Men can get a referral to transitional housing.

Youth Employment-Job Corps

This is a national, primarily residential training program. It is for young people ages 16 through 24. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young adults and teach them the skills they need to become employable. Students get academic training to suit their needs. They can get their GED. They can learn English. They can take Driver’s Education. They can get vocational training in several fields.
