ACL - Connecting People to Services

The Administration for Community Living or ACL for short. The group believes that services should be strong enough so individuals can be supported in their own home. Or other community-based settings. The group does not help people directly but has several programs to help connect them with services that do. These programs help older adults and people with disabilities. Helps them find supports and services that are needed to successfully live in their communities. Caregiver Program

The National Family Caregiver Support Program provides in-home support services to caregivers. For those in Pasco and Pinellas Counties. The caregiver must be for a person over the age of 60.

  • Respite Care

Healthy Families Pinellas

The Healthy Families Florida program is overseen by Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida. It is a nationally accredited family support and coaching program. The program is open to expectant parents. And to parents of newborns going through stressful life situations. Parents are empowered through education and community support. So that they can provide a safe and stable environment for their children. Services take place in the home and are entirely voluntary. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Lealman & Asian Neighborhood Family Center - Adult Services

LANFC has several programs for adults. They are an ACCESS site for anyone who would like to apply for food stamps and other state benefits online. Adults can learn English or take a basic computer class. A Family Specialist can offer support and referrals to area agencies (appointment needed). There are also social activities for seniors. Neighborly Care Network - Adult Day Care

This adult day care provides social programs which assure a protective environment. Clients can also get preventive, remedial and restorative services. They are provided for functionally impaired adults in need of such care. The staff assesses each client and develops a care plan to address each person's needs.
