The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities gives students with special needs the chance to attend a private school. The program is for students in grades K-12. Please see the website for more information.

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches provides social services to children and families from trained counselors. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who helps them. Each child must be recommended by the local Sheriff. Please call 386.842.5501 or visit website for more information.
This agency has a mobile camping program. It combines Summer Camp and Youth Camp and offers it to areas that may be socially and/or economically challenged. The aim of this program is to teach youth how to use their free time in a positive manner. It also helps teaching to accept others and appreciate the cultural differences of all. FSYR offers a summer camp for youth ages 10-15. Kids can take part in many fun activities such as canoeing, archery and swimming. They have the chance to build teamwork and peer communication skills. They can also enjoy the tranquil outdoors. Campers will have the chance to interact with law enforcement personnel and volunteers and learn other social skills.
