Food Pantry - Christian Sharing Center

We serve all of Seminole County from two food pantries. One is in Longwood and the other is in Sanford. Food is given free to those in need. We partner with U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, The Emergency Food Assistance Program, and Second Harvest Food Bank to ensure a well-balanced grocery cart.

The Sanford office serves Sanford, Geneva or Lake Monroe. This location is at 515 E. 25th Street.

The Longwood site covers Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Chuluota, Fern Park, Lake Mary, Longwood, Maitland, Oviedo, Winter Park, or Winter Springs. This location is in the Fairmont Plaza.

Food Pantry - Hope Helps, Inc.

This pantry provides non-perishable food, produce, meat and fresh bread, 4-days per week. This is free. They also have a summer lunch program for the disadvantaged children of the community.

Free Phones for Hearing/Speech Impaired-Florida Telecommunications Relay Service (FTRI)

Seminole County Public Schools Food Service information:
Parents can apply for free or reduced meal benefits electronically on-line.
Breakfast and lunch are available every day at all schools.
Prices for meals are available on the website.

There is also a Summer Food Service Program during June, July and August. Children 18 and under can get breakfast and lunch at no cost.

Granny Nannies offers home health care 24 hours a day. They help people recover from illness or injury at home. So that they can avoid hospital and nursing home stays. They can help with meals. Homeless Services - Sanford Rescue Outreach Mission

This agency in Seminole County provides a safe, supportive and healing environment in which disadvantaged or homeless people receive the help they need to return to self sufficiency.
They provide emergency food, shelter, clothing, and counseling. They have referral services so clients can find the resources they need through other agencies.

While here, clients can also get shelter, two meals a day and access to the clothes closet. They can also get spiritual guidance.

HOPE Community Thrift Store - Hope Helps, Inc.

This thrift store helps people in many ways. If there is a family in crisis, they can provide them with everything to make their situation bearable. If they are homeless, once they are able to help them attain housing, HOPE can provide them with basic needs. A portion of the sales enables them to help families with aid such as: rent, utilities and car repairs.

Many agencies in the Central Florida area refer their families to HOPE. They need items such as clothing, shoes, household items, school supplies, furniture, bedding, infant items and more.
