Kids Cafe

The Kids Cafe program is an after-school, meal service program. It gives food to children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The group makes and delivers balanced meals. Deliveries are on weekdays, during the school year. Meals are served by community partners and not the food bank itself.

Kids of HOPE

Kids of HOPE is a summer program that gives lunches to disadvantaged children. This program covers the time when schools are out in the summer and other school breaks. Families can pick up a week's worth of free lunches for their child. At the end of the summer, there is a Back to School Bash where they get school supplies so that they are ready like any other kid.

Meal Service - Grace 'n Grits - St. Peter's Episcopal Church

St. Peter's serves quality meals Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Sanford Civic Center, 401 East Seminole Boulevard in downtown Sanford. Area churches take a turn preparing and serving a variety of hot meals. Local supermarkets donate baked goods and bread which can be taken home.
St. Peter's also serves a hot breakfast of meat, eggs, pancakes, grits and cereal Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 9am at the 1st Presbyterian Church at 4th and Park in Sanford. Donated pastries and bread can also be taken home.

Meal Service - Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes is open to anyone who needs a meal. While here, people can also get access to the clothes closet, mental health counseling and referrals to other services.

Hours:
Residents: Lunch: 11:30am-12:30pm; Dinner 5:30-6:30pm, seven days a week
Public: Lunch 11:30am-12:30pm; Dinner 5:30-6:30pm, Monday-Friday

This group is a nonprofit fellowship. They are people who have had to deal with addiction. They meet regularly to help each other stay clean. They are not interested in what or how much you used, but only in what you want to do about your problem.
