This group has the Benefit Connection Outreach Program. It helps with SNAP applications. They do the interview in person with you instead of over the phone. They can also scan and send your documents to DCF. After, they may continue to offer help with information and referrals. Their services are free of charge. Braille and Talking Books Library is a free service. They offer reading materials in Braille and recorded audio. It is for those who are visually impared. The equipment used for the service is loaned out to customers. This includes digital players and headphones. The books on audio are also sent out to the customer at no charge.
