All MCAT buses and trolleys have wheelchair lifts. Follow the driver's instructions at the bus stop when the bus arrives.
This service provides door-to-door bus service. It is for people who, due to disability, cannot use the regular buses.

Bus transit system for Hernando County. Riders must have correct change, or present pass or tokens. Standard fares will be $1.25. Disabled, senior or student fares are $.60. Children under age 6 ride free if accompanied by a paying rider.

Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and bicycle racks. No animals allowed, other than trained service animals.

Bus fare cards give bus riders unlimited rides for daily, weekly or monthly use. Riders can purchase a monthly pass, a 10-pack of unlimited one day rides and 3-day unlimited rides. There is no need to purchase transfers.

This service lets people with disabilities use the HART fixed route bus system when they otherwise couldn't. The service consists of van transportation, which is based on the individual’s needs. It either picks people up and drops them off at their destination or takes them to an accessible bus stop.
The HART bus system is fully accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter. It should be used whenever feasible. All buses have PA systems to announce stops and lighted stop-requested signs.
This program helps with rides to medical appointments for older adults or disabled persons. Services are based on need. They will help no matter what your cultural, ethnic, or religious beliefs are.

Door-to-door service is provided to anyone unable to use the bus because of a disability or distance from a route. Persons who live within 3/4 mile of a route are required to use the regular bus. However, persons may apply for paratransit when they have a disability preventing them from transit use. Reservations must be made in advance.
Personal attendants ride free on paratransit trips.
