The Center for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (CPDV) is a “one stop shop” inside the City Hall Annex. HH court advocates help victims of domestic violence with court mandated orders. They also help clients find a safe place to live and provide emotional support during the victim's transition process. Please call or visit their website for more information.
Children who live with violence are impacted by that violence--whether they were physically abused or not. HH helps them understand that violence is not their fault. They help children know what they can do should they be in danger and help them understand and express their feelings.
