This group is the only furniture and clothing bank in Central Florida. It provides gently used household furnishing and clothing. It is for those who need to rebuild their lives after a tragedy or disaster.

Gainesville Community Ministry provides emergency food. The food is for seniors, the disabled, and those with low income. You may get a 2 day supply of food once a month. You must apply in person. Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 2:30PM. A picture ID and Social Security Card, or Social Security print-out is required. Call or visit the website to learn more.

Glad Tidings Community Church is part of 461 Response. They help provide food to those in need. A temporary food assistance program for individuals and families is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to noon. Every Sunday afternoon there are hot meals available for seniors in need.
