Langley Health Services provides Behavioral Health. A variety of services are offered for all ages, including individual, couples, and family/group counseling.
There is treatment available for many other issues. It is tailored to the needs of each patient. Call for more information.
St. Peter's has volunteers who provide free laundry service on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am, at the Laundromat & Cleaners in the Winn-Dixie Plaza. It is at 18th and 17-92 in Sanford. Laundry money, detergent and bleach are supplied.
The last wash must be in by 9:30 am. Limit: one load per person.
Grace Place provides Lead Program. This program is for ninth to twelfth grade students after school and during summer. The program helps prepare students for college and career. Please call and visit website for more information.
LANFC has several programs for adults. They are an ACCESS site for anyone who would like to apply for food stamps and other state benefits online. Adults can learn English or take a basic computer class. A Family Specialist can offer support and referrals to area agencies (appointment needed). There are also social activities for seniors. This center has After School programs for children in elementary and middle school. They provide a structured, safe and nurturing program for youth. Staff provide tutoring, help with homework, arts and crafts and more. Services are free, but children must be registered ahead of time.
