This program helps adults, children, and people who are homeless, no matter how much money they have. Some programs are only for certain groups or need a referral, but most are open to everyone. Many services have a set cost or use a sliding fee scale, and some are free.

Outpatient services address the needs of most of MBH's clients. The staff treats both children and adults. They treat people for mental illness, addictions, PTSD, and others. Mental Health Association of Okaloosa & Walton Counties offers mental health treatment and education. They offer free clinical screenings. Support groups are also available. The Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit is in Lake City. It is a short term location for the most serious mental health issues. They accept Baker Act patients here.
