Residential Treatment - Operation PAR

Inpatient Services , located at the Shirley D. Coletti Academy for Behavioral Change, provides up to six months of intensive residential treatment for substance-dependent adolescents with the average length of stay being four months. the program targets youth between 12-17 years old who are experiencing problems related to the use of alcohol or other drugs. The program utilizes a family-centered approach in a supportive therapeutic community. Services are designed to facilitate a substance abusing adolescent's recovery and to educate and equip family members with the life skills necessary to prevent further substance abuse. a variety of individual, group and family counseling services are offered in a progressive five-phase model. a core of supportive activities including education, recreation, life skill classes, vocational training complements basic services.
