Clients are either linked to area resources or else move through HEP's other housing programs. The goal is for all clients to regain their self sufficiency. Hidle House is a crisis shelter for children 10-17 years old. The focus is on providing safe shelter while working with youth to work out immediate family problems. This program gives eligible homebuyers up to $65,000 for down payment assistance and closing costs. It is for homes in unincorporated areas of the county. This includes Temple Terrace and Plant City. You do not have to be a first time home buyer for this program.
