ALPHA Prevention Program

The ALPHA program is a school-based prevention program. It gives support and counseling to students. The services are free during school hours. They are offered at seven elementary schools in Orange County. Children must be enrolled in their target grade level and have a permission slip signed by a parent. Braille and Talking Books Library is a free service. They offer reading materials in Braille and recorded audio. It is for those who are visually impared. The equipment used for the service is loaned out to customers. This includes digital players and headphones. The books on audio are also sent out to the customer at no charge.
