This agency grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. It is for children ages 2 1/2 to 17. After a child is referred, Make-A-Wish will work with the child's doctor to determine eligibility. Their vision is to grant one wish to every eligible child. Head Start is a federally funded program for low-income children and children with disabilities. They offer school readiness, and a range of other services. The community center offers the Nurturing Family (Crianza con Cariño) program. The program is offered twice a year. And is aimed at Hispanic families. It is done primarily in Spanish.
