Family Assistance ServicesThis is a group of volunteers who have been trained and certified by the State of Florida. Their role is to represent a child's best interests in court. They speak for children who have been abused and neglected. They monitor the child's court case. They monitor the child's safety and welfare. They assure that a child's best interests are heard and met.

This is a voluntary home visiting program for expectant parents and families of newborns. Teaches parenting skills and bonding. Weekly visits by an experienced Mom (called a Resource Mom) for a period of 3-5 years.
This program offers a broad range of services to pregnant woman and new parents. Women can get breast feeding education and support. They can get counseling referrals, nutrition assessment, parent education and referrals to various free and low cost services.
