Pace Center runs a year-round day program for girls. Teachers help middle and high school students with education. Counselors help with support, life skills training, and career prep. They offer help at home, as well as at schools and within the local community. These services are tailored for each girl and the program is free. This group offers the Reach Program. It provides a variety of mental health related services. They are for girls between the ages of 11 and 17. The services are also for their families. Turning Point is a shelter that helps people with substance abuse problems. It offers detox and support services for homeless individuals. The shelter takes in adults who are drunk and coming straight from the street. It provides a place to stay, including cold night shelter, for those who haven’t started recovery yet. This book club uses technology to help students in kindergarten through 8th grade improve their reading and writing skills. It supports early reading and makes learning fun.
