Monroe County In-Home Services is a program that serves elderly persons and/or disabled adults. The program goal is to offer an alternative to nursing home placement. They also help individuals in their own homes or the homes of family or friends. Call for more information.

Mothers Helping Mothers provides basic needs to families in need. They give children's clothing and baby items. These items can include cribs, car seats, strollers, formula, breast pumps, and more. This group meets twice a month at the First Baptist Church of Live Oak. Mothers of preschoolers meet to find encouragement and support. It is a safe place for moms to get together and discuss everyday problems. Please call to confirm times.

The Mustard Seed Inn offers transitional housing for men and women. They offer recovery support services for substance abuse and mental illness. They provide case management, counseling, job support services and more. Residents may remain at the facility for up to two years as they work toward regaining their lives. The program is a complete cutting off from all drugs. The group is made up of people recovering from addiction. They meet regularly. They help each other stay clean.
