Services and Programs Available Include:

Avow Hospice provides Avow Kids. This program is designed for children ages 5 to 17, and provides support and companionship to children who are grieving. The reason might be the loss of a parent, sibling, friend, or relative through illness, accident, deportation, suicide, or homicide. Please call or visit website for more information.

This facility has counseling for adults. They offer aftercare, case management, outpatient services and outreach for adults of all ages. They can help with chemical dependency issues.

An expansion of the Bay Care system is Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Recovery Center. It is the only freestanding psychiatric hospital in Pasco County. It is a Baker Act receiving facility.

Treatment at the Center includes acute care services, case management, crisis intervention and support. The medical staff focuses on the unique needs of each patient. In addition to mental health care, good nutrition and physical activity are part of the care plan. Each patient will get aftercare planning before being discharged.
